What is FBA prep?
FBA prep is the work that makes your products acceptable to an Amazon warehouse: a scannable barcode on every unit, the right packaging, and cartons that meet Amazon’s size, weight and labeling rules. Amazon can refuse or relabel goods that arrive unprepared, and it charges you for fixing them.
FNSKU is Amazon’s own barcode for your product in your seller account. It’s how Amazon knows the unit belongs to you.

What are Amazon FBA prep requirements?
Every unit needs a scannable barcode (usually the FNSKU), and products must be packed so they survive handling: loose parts bagged, sets bundled, fragile items protected. Cartons need Amazon’s shipment labels and must stay within Amazon’s size and weight limits. Check Seller Central for the current requirements for your product category.

For most sellers, prep in China saves money and time. It makes less sense if you need to split stock across many channels after it arrives.
How it works
- Send your shipment plan and FNSKU labels from Seller Central.
- We receive the goods from your supplier in our Yiwu warehouse.
- We inspect if you’ve booked a quality inspection.
- We label, bag and pack each unit, then label the cartons.
- We ship to the Amazon warehouses on your plan and send you tracking.
Pricing
FBA prep is quoted per order, based on the number of units and the work each unit needs. Sourcing commission, inspection and shipping are priced separately. Full pricing
What we can't guarantee
- Amazon decides what it accepts. We follow your shipment plan and the current rules, but Amazon can still change requirements or refuse a shipment.
- Your listing data is your responsibility. We print the labels from your plan. If the plan has the wrong FNSKU or quantities, the goods arrive wrong.
