Working with us
What does OLWAN Sourcing do?
We’re a sourcing agent based in Yiwu, China. Our founder has worked in international trade since 2007, and in Yiwu since 2009. We find products and suppliers, check factories, negotiate in Chinese, follow production, inspect goods before you pay the balance, and ship them to your door.
Do you accept small orders?
Yes. We work with orders of any size. Orders up to $50,000 pay a 4% commission, with a $150 minimum per order.
Which countries do you work with?
Buyers in any country. Our clients today are in the US, Canada, Mexico and the Middle East, and we welcome buyers from the UK, Australia and every other market.
How fast do you reply?
Within one business day.
Where do you source from?
Yiwu market, factories all over China, and specialized trade fairs. Our team covers a large number of trade fairs every year.
Fees and payment
How much do you charge?
A commission on the value of the goods: 4% on orders up to $50,000 ($150 minimum per order), and 3–4% above $50,000. The rate applies to the whole order. See pricing.
How do I pay?
By bank transfer. You pay for the goods and our commission together.
Do you take commission from suppliers?
No. Our only fee is the one we publish.
Do you offer credit or pay later?
No.
Who pays for samples?
You do, at cost.
What if I already have a supplier?
We can verify them, follow production, inspect and ship. The fee is agreed per order, often around 3% of the order value, depending on the services and the supplier’s location.
Suppliers and quality
How do you check a supplier?
A legal check of the business license and registration costs $150. An on-site factory audit costs $250. → Supplier verification
How do you check quality?
Our inspector checks your goods against your approved sample and sends a photo report before you pay the balance. $200 per man-day, and most single-product inspections take one day. → Quality inspection
How many suppliers will you compare?
At least three for each product, often more.
Shipping
Do you ship door to door?
Yes. We ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) to the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, Mexico and Brazil. One price covers freight, customs and duties. Door to door, sea freight to the US takes about 30 to 65 days (about 45 to 65 to other countries), and air freight about 4 to 10 days. → Shipping
Can you combine goods from several suppliers?
Yes. Suppliers deliver to our Yiwu warehouse, and we ship everything as one. → Consolidation
How long does shipping take?
It depends on the method and destination. Express is fastest and sea freight costs the least. We give you the estimate with your quote.
What we can't do
Can you guarantee zero defects?
No. Inspection checks a random sample and reduces defects, but it can’t remove every one. → What we can’t guarantee
